So I had ordered a competitor brand last week, but when I saw they delayed my shipment from August to October 30th, I decided to cancel and find another option. I had been eyeing the 60" Varidesk for awhile, but had gone with a competitor due to the lower price point. Ended up ordering this on Tuesday after cancelling the other desk order, and had an estimated delivery date of 3 days later! (8/14). Later that Tuesday I had already received the notification that the package had shipped. Several reviews as well as the product description noted that this ships in 2 boxes (legs in one desktop in another) so I wasn't sure if I would only be getting once piece. Not only did I get both parts delivered at the same time, I got it a day early! On to my review of the product:

Setup:

As easy as people say. I will say that the boxes are definitely on the heavy side. I was able to carry both inside on my own, but I also channeled He-Man prior to doing so; so be warned, you'll likely want two people to move it. The instructions came in the box with the stand. Extremely simple instructions. The desktop box is marked with up arrows to let you know which side of the desktop box should be up. The side that is up is the bottom-side of the desk. This is important, because when you open the desktop box, you'll follow instructions to install the full stand kit with the desktop still top-side down in the box. They also smartly include packaging that allows you to simply open up the plastic away from the desk to access the desktop. All in all once I had the boxes open and read the instructions, it took about 10 minutes to actually put the desk together. Once you have it together, you will definitely need 2 people to flip the desk over carefully and avoid any damage to the desktop. Make sure you flip it over towards the backside of the desk to avoid damaging the control panel.

Function:

The desk works perfectly. Extremely easy to program preset heights, and is quiet and quick when raising or lowering. I set mine at 42.0 while standing, and I notice virtually no movement when typing or using my mouse. When sitting I have it set at 28, and its sturdy as a brick. While this desk was a few hundred more than the other brand I had initially chosen, I have no regrets. it seems fantastic.

As you've seen in other reviews, this desk feels like a high-quality product. It looks fantastic, and is just simply aesthetically pleasing.
